Puka Nacua’s ex-girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, isn’t staying quiet about the lack of support the Los Angeles Rams star allegedly gave her during her recent pregnancy.

Just three months after welcoming the NFL wide receiver’s first child, Aino shared a video on social media detailing how “alone” she felt before she became a mother for the first time.

In the TikTok video, titled “My birth story♥️ the best day of my life,” Aiono described the emotional journey she faced leading up to childbirth.

“Anytime anyone asks about my birth, I always say, ‘Oh it was perfect.’ But then I get into the details and it really wasn’t,” Aiono wrote in the Tuesday, Jan. 27 post.

“My pregnancy wasn’t ideal. The last few weeks were specifically very, very hard. I was very depressed and emotionally very heavy. My doctor knew what I was going through, and that I was alone in this pregnancy, and at 38 weeks, he suggested that I got induced at 39 weeks.”

Nacua’s ex claims that she wound up at the doctor multiple times, as the baby stopped moving in utero due to the emotional turmoil she was dealing with. She also detailed how she wanted to have an unmedicated labor, but couldn’t relax due to the stress, and was forced to get an epidural.

Although she never mentioned the Rams star directly in the video, she hinted that she forced to lean on family for support after giving birth – and couldn’t have done it without them..

“I was so lucky to have my sisters and my mom there in the room and all of postpartum. I truly could not have done it without them,” she said.

What Hallie Aiono said about Puka Nacua before she gave birth

Aiono has apparently been taking shots at Nacua for his lack of support for months.

In a TikTok video shared on Sept. 2, a very pregnant Aiono discussed being forced to do “blue jobs,” a slang term for household chores traditionally or stereotypically associated with men, as she didn’t have her unborn child’s father, Nacua, around to help her.

She cryptically captioned the post, “At least this time I had my sisters.”

“Today I’m doing a lot of blue job by myself. My brother-in-law and my sister have been helping me and they both have work today so I am single mom who works four jobs,” Aiono said, while lifting large area rugs into a shopping cart with her growing pregnant stomach on full display. “Being 32 weeks pregnant and having to carry these heavy a– rugs, I honestly probably shouldn’t have done this, but who else is going to do it,” she added.

She made another quiet dig in a TikTok video shared on December 29, rocking her newborn son in a chair alone in a dark room.

“First night and we were already left, all alone. Luckily we had @Taylor TeMaari Aiono come and help take care of you and me♥️ To me, nothing will ever be more important then you, Kingston♥️,” she captioned the post.

Nacua and Aiono met at Brigham Young University in 2021. Aiono seemed supportive of Nacua after he was drafted into the NFL, however the happiness was temporary.

The couple’s tumultuous relationship ended with a paternity suit in June 2025 – shortly after Aiono announced that she was pregnant.

The legal battle wasn’t pretty, according to TMZ, who reported that Aiono asked a judge to award her full physical custody of the child, with Nacua getting visitation rights, along with financial support when she was 19 weeks pregnant. Nacua’s response to the June 16 petition requested genetic testing to determine if the baby was even his.

Things seemed to cool off after the couple welcomed their son in October 2025, when Aiono posted a photo of them snuggling Kingston in a hospital bed side by side. However, that happiness may. have been short-lived, based on her most recent social media posts.
