The Ole Miss women’s basketball game against Tennessee that was postponed due to the winter storm has been rescheduled.
The No. 17 Rebels (17-4, 4-2 SEC) and No. 15 Lady Vols (14-4, 6-1) was originally scheduled to be played on Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. before it was rescheduled to 3 p.m. and later ultimately postponed due to the winter storm.
The teams will now face off on Feb. 17 (6 p.m. CT, ESPNU) at SJB Pavilion. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honored on Feb. 17.
With the new date, Ole Miss will now play three games in five days, with contests against Kentucky and LSU already scheduled for Feb. 15 and Feb. 19, respectively.
This is the Rebels third game that was affected by the storm. Their games against No. 6 Vanderbilt and Auburn were both pushed back a day and relocated from Oxford to Birmingham, Alabama, at Legacy Arena. Ole Miss plays the Commodores on Jan. 30 and the Tigers on Feb. 2.
Ole Miss’ campus has been closed since Jan. 26 due to lasting impact from the storm, including icy condition, power outages and downed trees and power lines that have made roadways hazardous. The campus will be closed through Feb. 8.
