Class of 2027 offensive tackle Avery Michael has committed to the Oregon Ducks, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Michael, coming out of Turlock High School in California is rated as a three-star, the No. 59 offensive tackle and No. 723 player nationally, per 247 Sports Composite.
The 6-foot-6, 290-pounder had over 20 offers, highlighted by programs such as Michigan, UCLA and USC but ultimately chose the Ducks. California, coached by former Oregon defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi, was also in the picture.
Michael is the third Oregon commit in the 2027 class, joining four-star edge rusher Cameron Pritchett and three-star linebacker Sam Ngata.

The Ducks have a bevy of talent at the offensive tackle positions, with Fox Crader and Gernorris Wilson in the mix as projected starters in 2026. The Ducks are also set to welcome five-star Immanuel Iheanacho as part of the 2026 recruiting class.
Michael’s commitment represents a solid add for head coach Dan Lanning and his staff as they attempt to follow up a very strong 2026 class with another in 2027.
