The Milwaukee Bucks tinkered around the edges of their roster on the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline, moving guard Cole Anthony and wing Amir Coffey to the Phoenix Suns for center Nick Richards and wing Nigel Hayes-Davis.
Richards is a 6-foot-11 28-year-old in his sixth season. He is not a floor spacer, however, as he has taken five 3-point shots his entire career.
Hayes-Davis, a University of Wisconsin alumnus, is 31 years old and returned to the NBA this season after spending seven seasons overseas. He made only 12.5% of his 3-point shots in limited minutes in Phoenix.
Anthony was signed by the Bucks after being bought out by Memphis, and the 25-year-old was having the worst season of his six-year career. In roughly 15 minutes per game over just 35 appearances, he averaged 6.7 points per game on 30% 3-point shooting.
Coffey made the Bucks out of training camp after signing a non-guaranteed camp deal, and he also did not play much. The 28-year-old appeared in 30 games but played less than 9 minutes per contest and shot 28% from behind the 3-point line.
HoopsHype, a USA TODAY Network property, confirmed the deal.
