MSU football offers 3-star OT from Ohio powerhouse program

Michigan State football has extended an offer to a 2027 offensive lineman prospect that plays for a powerhouse high school in Ohio.

Patrick O’Brien of Cincinnati announced on Thursday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. O’Brien posted on his social media X account to announce his offer from the Spartans.

O’Brien is a three-star offensive tackle prospect in the 2027 class. He plays for Archbishop Moeller and is listed as the No. 52 offensive tackle in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2027 class. He is also ranked as the No. 22 player from Ohio and No. 589 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State joins a long list of schools to extend an offer to O’Brien. According to 247Sports, he holds nearly 20 offers, with notable schools such as Boston College, Minnesota, Kentucky, Northwestern, Pitt, Purdue, West Virginia and Virginia Tech among the power four schools to offer him so far in his recruitment.
