Patriots’ Kyle Williams almost took down fan who ran onto the Super Bowl field

New England Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams nearly brought down a fan who ran onto the field during Super Bowl LX before security intervened.

The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the championship game between the Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

Williams immediately reacted as the fan attempted to evade stadium security.

Kyle Williams chases down Super Bowl field invader

A shirtless fan ran onto the field during a stoppage in play late in the fourth quarter. As security gave chase, Kyle Williams sprinted toward the intruder from the Patriots’ sideline.

Williams closed the gap and appeared close to making contact before security personnel reached the fan.

The intruder was eventually tackled and escorted off the field as play between the two teams eventually resumed.

Brief interruption during fourth quarter

The field invasion caused a short delay as officials waited for the situation to be resolved. The incident was not shown live on the broadcast.

Williams’ pursuit drew attention given how quickly he reacted and how close he came to stopping the fan himself.

Play resumed shortly afterward with no further disruption.
