The Georgia Bulldogs have extended a scholarship offer to four-star quarterback recruit Jamison Roberts. The Bulldogs are the latest team to enter the mix for the talented class of 2027 passer.
Roberts plays high school football for Saraland High School in Saraland, Alabama. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback helped Saraland advance to the 2025 6A state championship game in Alabama. Unfortunately, Roberts and Saraland fell to Clay-Chalkville in a 38-21 state title loss.
Roberts is ranked as the No. 23 quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports. The four-star is the nation’s No. 23 quarterback and the No. 15 prospect in Alabama. Roberts is a dual-threat quarterback and is coming off an ultra-productive junior season.
The Saraland star posted 4,011 total yards, 58 total touchdowns and just five interceptions during his junior season. He totaled 3,370 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns and completed 73% of his passes. The mobile quarterback added 641 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.
Roberts has a strong arm and must be respected as a rusher. He shows pretty good speed on tape and is an elusive rusher. Roberts throws an accurate deep ball and has good ball placement. He is more than capable of making opposing pass rushers miss and often turns pressures into positive plays.
“Extremely blessed to say I have received an offer from Georgia football,” Roberts said after Georgia offered him. The talented quarterback has recent scholarship offers from Maryland, South Carolina and Colorado. Other SEC programs recruiting Roberts include Kentucky, Ole Miss, Auburn, Oklahoma and Arkansas, who all made Roberts’ top eight schools.
