Things were never normal for former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson this past season.
Wilson, notably a step slower, got benched by the Bengals and demanded a trade. He wound up being traded to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a seventh-round pick.
From there, Wilson was the center of a very messy dispute between Jerry Jones and Cowboys coaches.
Fast forward to now, the Cowboys cut Wilson in a cap-saving move.

Wilson ended up playing just 224 snaps over seven games for Dallas. Considering how bad the Cowboys were, it’s a staggering indictment of Wilson and probably the Cowboys, too.
The Bengals have moved forward with Demetrius Knight and Barrett Carter. They need obvious upgrades to the depth. But after Wilson name-dropped Zac Taylor in the media after his benching, it’s hard to think the two parties will think about each other much this offseason.
