Bayern Munich star out! Konrad Laimer on sideline with calf issue per report

The hits just keep coming for Bayern Munich.

Konrad Laimer, who just came back from a calf injury, will not play in today’s match vs. Eintracht Frankfurt due to lingering issues with his calf per Tz:

Vincent Kompany has to compensate for another absence. Konrad Laimer will not be able to play against Eintracht. A torn calf muscle means the Austrian will have to watch from the sidelines. It is not clear how long the defensive player will be out of action. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will also be unable to play against SGE.

It is unclear from the wording of the report if this is a continuation of Laimer’s existing issue or if this is something new. One the surface, this latest issue appears to be the after-effects of his previous problem, but we will continue to monitor the situation.

Josip Stanišić is the most likely replacement for Laimer at right-back for Bayern Munich.
