While they are not the defending champions, Team USA is coming into the 2026 World Baseball Classic with one of the strongest rosters.
Team USA will play against Brazil, Great Britain, Mexico and Italy during pool play in the tournament before potentially advancing to the quarterfinals and beyond. Under manager Mark DeRosa, they are projected to make a deep run and potentially face Japan for a rematch of the most recent international championship game.
