Pro Day Standouts: Three Texas A&M NFL Draft prospects who impressed

After sending the most players from any college football program to the 2026 NFL Combine in February, Texas A&M’s stars preparing for their jump to the league showcased their talents at the Aggies’ Pro Day on Wednesday.

With the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, rapidly approaching, multiple Aggies are projected to land in the first round. Wednesday’s scouting event allowed NFL scouts from all 32 organizations to get a firsthand look at what each player could bring to Sundays in 2026.

Here are the top three standouts from Texas A&M’s Pro Day, as 23 Aggies prepare for their potential jump from the Maroon and White to the NFL:

1. Cashius Howell (DE)

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS - SEPTEMBER 27: Cashius Howell #9 of the Texas A&M Aggies celebrates after making a sack against Jackson Arnold #11 of the Auburn Tigers (not pictured) in the fourth quarter of the game at Kyle Field

Career stats: 126 TOT (72 SOLO) | 15 PD | 27 SACK | 3 FF | 1 INT

  • Height: 6-2 2/8
  • Weight: 262
  • Hand: 9
  • Arm: 31
  • Wingspan: 73 1/2
  • Bench Press: 22

Pro Day evaluation: Howell is considered one of the most dynamic defensive ends in the 2026 NFL Draft for a reason. He hit 22 reps on the bench press event during Pro Day. Howell’s strength, agility, and overall build are qualities that NFL franchises seek in draft prospects. The projected first-rounder from Kansas City, Missouri, was an anchor up front for Texas A&M’s defense in 2025, becoming the first Aggie since Von Miller to record multiple three-sack performances in a single season.

2. Albert Regis (DL)

  • Weight: 295
  • Hand: 9 1/4
  • Arm: 32
  • Wingspan: 77

Pro Day evaluation: After an impressive performance at the 2026 NFL Combine, running a 4.88 in the 40-yard dash and ranking 12th in the athleticism score among all defensive tackles, Regis showed out again in front of the scouts in Bryan-College Station on Wednesday. He hit 27 reps in the bench press event, marking the second-most among all Aggies performing at Texas A&M’s Pro Day. Not only does Regis present outstanding qualities as a player, but his leadership off the field has also impressed many NFL scouts.

3. Koli Faaiu (OL)

Pro Day evaluation: While Faaiu did not receive an invitation to compete in Indianapolis, Indiana, last month, he put his strength and athletic ability on display, notching 29 reps in the bench press. That mark was the most among all 23 players participating in Pro Day. The former three-star prospect played for the Utah Utes before transferring to Texas A&M in 2024. Faaiu is not projected to be drafted highly, but he possesses elite strength and experience.
