When the Denver Broncos face the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, it will mark the third time in franchise history the team has played a regular season game in London.
Denver is 1-1 in the club’s last two trips to London, with a 21-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 and a 24-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in 2010. Both of those matchups were played at Wembley Stadium.
Broncos coach Sean Payton also has two Wembley games on his resume. During his time with the New Orleans Saints, Payton secured a 37-32 win over the then-San Diego Chargers in 2008 and later posted a 20-0 victory over the Miami Dolphins in 2017. He’ll look to improve to 3-0 in London on Sunday.
Denver has 11 active-roster players still in the squad from the 2022 win against the Jags. Those players will aim to improve to 2-0 across the pond.
