Joe Rossi breaks down defensive improvements, tough Iowa matchup

Michigan State football is traveling to face off against the Iowa Hawkeyes inside of Kinnick Stadium, where the Spartans are attempting to earn their first Big Ten win of the season.

While a lot of emphasis has been the offensive struggles the team is having, and how that equates to the Iowa defense, there has not been much emphasis on the MSU defense. The Spartans defense has seen a major uptick in performance under Joe Rossi, who is making inroads with a group that is not full of talent.

Iowa will be a real test for the defense, who is looking to make a statement that they are here for good.

Ahead of the Iowa matchup, Rossi spoke to the media, sharing his thoughts on his defenses progress and how they are going to have to attack the Hawkeyes offensive attack.
