The Oklahoma Sooners head into Week 13 controlling their own College Football Playoff lives. At 8-2 and 4-2 in SEC play, the Sooners have a lot to play for in 2025. If they can win their final two regular season games, they’ll earn a spot in the 12-team CFP field.

But the wins won’t come easy. The Sooners will first take on a Missouri Tigers team that is 7-3 and 3-3 in the conference. The Tigers boast one of the best defenses in the SEC and one of the best running backs in all of college football in Ahmad Hardy.

Defending Hardy will be a huge challenge for the Sooners’ defense, and they’ll likely be going into the contest without arguably their best player, R Mason Thomas. Thomas was injured in the first quarter of Oklahoma’s win over Tennessee after returning a fumble 71 yards for a touchdown. He missed OU’s win vs. Alabama and looks unlikely to play after remaining questionable on the Thursday evening injury report.

Cornerback Gentry Williams and running back Jovantae Barnes also remain questionable Thursday night.

While much is the same, there was a notable addition to the injury report. Guard Heath Ozaeta was listed as doubtful Thursday evening. It looks like he’ll miss this week against the Tigers. Ozaeta was replaced in the starting lineup several weeks ago by Eddy Pierre-Louis but he remains an integral part of the Sooners offensive line rotation.

On the Missouri side of things, starting quarterback Beau Pribula was upgraded from doubtful to questionable. The expectation is Pribula will be available for Saturday’s game in an emergency role but that true freshman Matt Zollers will get the start.
