MONROE – The frigid weather that has engulfed the Monroe County Region is putting a chill on high school athletic calendar.
About half of the events have been postponed.
The Monroe County Region boys swimming championships set for Saturday at Dundee will go on as scheduled along with five boys basketball games and two girls contests Friday night.
Lists of which events are still slated to be played as scheduled and which ones have been called off as of 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, follows.
