The Cincinnati Bengals laid in wait on Night 1, as they dealt their No. 10 overall pick for defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence. And, despite some league insiders claiming that the team might be willing to maneuver on Night 2, they stayed put for both of their picks.

And, despite the adding of six defenders via free agency/trade, the team went that route again with their first two picks of 2026 NFL Draft picks. Cincinnati once again fortified the defense. At No. 41 overall, the team selected edge defender Cashius Howell, following it up with Washington cornerback, Tacario Davis.

How big of an imoact will these two make in 2026?

John Sheeran and Anthony Cosenza of The Orange and Black Insider Bengals podcast went live a couple of times on Friday night to break it down.

On this episode:

  • What does Cashius Howell bring to the Bengals?
  • Al Golden’s stamp on the Bengals’ defense
  • What is the immediate impact of Tacario Davis?
  • And more
