Had the last Intel Mac Pro $12,000. Went to a Mac mini M4 Pro $3000. It had 50% headroom on my pro audio projects.

I plan on waiting till 2030 or later…Don’t need a faster Mac for audio or web development – occasional music videos are fine…New Computer Prices are too high for me…I’ll wait for ram to drop.

In your criticism of Apple project Titan: Apple spent an estimated $10 billion dollars over 8 years.  A whopping $1.25 billion a year for what ended up being an R&D project. Isn’t a little revisionist to call the endeavor a failure if all it provided was the neural engine, the photo processing pipeline, and visual intelligence. Especially, considering Meta spent $60 Billion on the Metaverse and what the hyperscalers are spending each quarter on datacenters ($580 billion in 2025 and est $620 billion ).
