Watch Texas A&M's epic pre-game hype video, narrated by star LB Taurean York

For Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko, the Aggies’ 8-0 start and 5-0 SEC record and standing is something to celebrate, but the real work begins in November, a month that has not been kind to the program under the previous three coaches, which has prevented the Aggies from taking the next step.

While no head coach is perfect — Nick Saban can challenge that assertion — Elko’s blue-collar mentality has created a culture in College Station that can’t be rivaled. While the 2025 roster is chock-full of talent and experience, it’s hard work and dedication to what Elko and his staff are building that has led to this season’s historic start.

After blowing out LSU 49-25 in Baton Rouge just two weeks ago, Texas A&M took advantage of the bye week and is set to take on No. 22 Missouri (6-2, 2-2 SEC) in Columbia on Saturday afternoon. This game finishes out the Aggies’ three-game road trip before heading back to Kyle Field next weekend, but for starting quarterback Marcel Reed, this will be the most formidable defense he’ll face until the season-finale matchup with Texas.

On paper, Texas A&M’s offensive line, which has allowed just seven sacks on the year, will need to hold up to give Marcel Reed time to find his talented wide receiver corps, knowing that Missouri’s elite run defense could prevent the Aggie running attack from finding consistency early.

However, Texas A&M’s defensive line, which has produced 32 sacks, will look to pressure Missouri freshman quarterback Matt Zollers throughout the afternoon, giving the Aggie offense an advantage in finding a rhythm, especially in the second half.

Ahead of the game, Texas A&M’s media team released another epic pre-game video, narrated by junior star linebacker Taurean York, to get you ready for what should be another exciting road test for the Maroon & White.
