Nebraska lands long snapper Jack Wills from Michigan State

Nebraska picked up a commitment from Michigan State Spartans long snapper Jack Willis on Sunday afternoon. He made the announcement on social media.

Willis played 12 games for the Spartans last season and has three seasons of eligibility remaining. Nebraska had long snapper Kevin Gallic last season, and he used his final season of eligibility in 2025.

This is an important addition to the program, as it provides greater stability at the position over multiple seasons. Additionally, he will now be able to work with special teams coach Mike Ekeler for several years.

Nebraska football has been active in the transfer portal over the past couple of days, and Sunday was another day of moves. This was another one at what was a position of need, and it could have a positive impact not just this season but for the foreseeable future.
